How to use the first aid kit

Where to store or carry your first aid kit

    How does the tourniquet work?

This tourniquet is included in each Surviveware Small First Aid Kit. It's a great little starter for your preparedness needs. There are certainly better tourniquets out there and we encourage you to invest in the right equipment. However, as we demonstrate in this video this little tourniquet packs a punch and will stop blood loss when you need it the most. Use it on your hands, arms, legs and even fingers.

Are the contents resistant to freezing temperatures?

In this video, I leave the Surviveware Small First Aid Kit in my freezer for 24 hours. Most of the supplies were unaffected, except for the non-alcohol antiseptic towelettes.

However, this can easily be overcome by warming them with your hands for 20 seconds. All of the adhesive bandages were still in good shape. Overall I think this test is great and shows everybody heading into freezing temperatures that the kit will keep your supplies safe.
